We’ve already recognized the need for stronger IT expertise in Asia way back in 1983. This was when there were not many tech courses and coding boot camps did not exist! For over 34 years, we have been able to refine our courses to better address the need for IT-related skills, culminating in us attaining the 4-year Edutrust certification since December 2016. Did you know that the National Library Building has won top local and international awards for its uniquely green architectural design? Students studying in our classrooms at Level 13 also enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the Singapore city-scape. According to Communications and Information Minister Yaacob Ibrahim, more than 42,000 workers would be needed in the Singapore ICT sector from 2017-2021. In spite of a slowing economy, IT-related jobs are in hot demand. In fact, we recently launched our Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Network and Computer Technology which consist of a 6-month internship component. 8. Get more out of your education with inter-disciplinary studies modules
Many jobs nowadays require you to possess a wide range of skills beyond a single scope. An IT software engineer may require a sound knowledge of business to contribute effectively to his or her organization. Or maybe you’re just a student who can’t stop learning. Whatever the case, Informatics has responded to such trends by allowing all our existing students to take up additional modules outside of your intended programme for free! Students who achieve above 75% attendance for these electives will receive a certificate of attendance.

With student services located just a room or two away from your classroom, you can be assured that you’ll be supported throughout your entire study journey. In fact, our friendly student services team are happy to help you with student pass application and have in place an orientation program for international students. We’re proud to say that their efforts have resulted in them achieving a high satisfaction rating of 3.71 out of 4 in our 2017 structured feedback exercise.
